課程目標 |
A language enhancement class designed specifically for interpreting trainees, this class will focus students' attention on the listening and public speaking skills an interpreter needs to process and deliver an English speaker's words and intentions accurately and effectively. Critical reflections of one's own listening and speaking strategies and analysis of a large body of sample speeches will be a common feature in the coursework throughout the semester. Students are expected to engage fully in classroom discussions and activities, and conduct independent and group research and practice on the art of public speaking outside of class. |

1. Please be punctual.
2. All assignments are to be handed in on Ceiba. And no late assignment is accepted.
3. Participating in class exercises and discussions is a must.
